As an Alvis afficinado, I have allways been attracted by the vintage style ande sporty looks of the 12/60 Beetle Back.

You will have to admit that this Beetle Back in particular, looks extremely attractive in this perfect colour combination of maroon with black. I can assure you that the quality of this 2 seater tourer, goes much further than its good looks only.
The previous Belgian owner bought this 12/60 as an original and complete but tired car a couple of years ago in the UK and started a no expence spared restoration on her. Structurally, everything was examined and restored where necessary. Also mechanically, all components got the same treatment. The whole engine was completely rebuild. This opportunity was taken to convert the unit to lead-free petrol use.

With a new set of tyres and some trimwork to the lovely upholstery, all this work resulted in the 'close to concours condition Alvis Beetle Back' you see here.

I saw this 12/60 participating at the recent Circuit des Ardennes this summer and was impressed (when following the car with my Speed 25 Tourer) by the punch and excellent road behaviour of this sporty Alvis when climbing the steep hills of the beautiful Ardennes. Her maiden run after this complete rebuild, was a great success !

For someone as much in love with this model as I have allways been, this 12/60 Beetle Back is a unique opportunity to acquire.
