H ighlight of the last 6 months. Fiat 8V Zagato

Twice Mille Miglia

is certainly the sporty 1955 Fiat Ottovu Zagato I was entrusted to sell .
It was my plan to exhibit this concours condition Fiat Ottovu Zagato side by side with the exotic, Ghia designed Fiat Ottovu Supersonic, I sold last year at the world famous Retromobile show in Paris. Unfortunately health problems prevented me doing so.
On the other hand the qualities of this Ottovu Zagato were so strong :
  • Twice Mille Miglia contender in 1955 and 1956
  • Only 2 long term owners from new.
  • Very detailed & ultra complete history.
  • Perfectly restored by top-specialists to absolute concours condition
that I ended up selling this top-sportscar to one of my regular customers just a couple of days after the Zagato arrived into my showroom.

E xciting barnfinds!
were certainly the 4 Aston Martin's I could buy together from the collection of a Dutch customer.
By exhibiting just 1 of these deliciously scruffy Aston Martin's on my stand at the Techno Classica show in Essen, I could sell all 4 of them. The good thing is that for 3 of those I will have the pleasure to see them resuscitate in our classic car workshop during the next months.

A ccomplishments of our workshop.
Aston Martin DB4 'GT' Getting excited when looking at a project is one thing, being able to finish it so that everybody (owner, restorer and classic car enthusiasts) can enjoy the final product is another.
One of the great everyday pleasures of my job is to witness the evolution of the restoration work on a series of classic cars entrusted to our workshop.
  Jaguar XK140 DHC
Very recently we finished a total restoration on an Aston Martin DB 4 'GT' and on a Jaguar XK140 DHC. Next in the row are an AC Ace Bristol, an Alvis Speed 20 Vanden Plas Tourer, a Ferrari Dino, an Aston Martin DB4 SV Vantage, a 50-ies sports-racing Jaguar 'Tomlinson' and a Siata Daina Grand Sport.
I taly in May
Transappenninica Rally I am advising this to anybody, but if you can, try and do some classic car driving in Italy during the month of May. Mild climate, lots of flowers, idyllic springtime scenery when touring along the country-roads and through the little villages. A real pleasure!

The Transappenninica Rally to which I was invited to participate combined all of this with excellent companionship, a fabulous collection of prewar cars (I drove the Alvis Speed 20 SB Vanden Plas Tourer I sold 2 years ago to my Italian friend Gianluigi) , most comfortable accommodation and exquisite Italian food. A taste for more in the future years!

S ome more press features

It is a real pleasure for me to be able to share our classic car passion with as many enthusiasts as possible reading specialised magazines distributed on a national and even international scale. "Octane' deputy editor Mark Dixon published recently (issue n° 61 July 08) a feature on our Lagonda M45 T7 Tourer, Alec Lavaerts wrote for "The Art of Living" (1-2008) a comparison between my ex-Jenks Jaguar E-type SII Convertible and the new Jaguar XKR and Ad van Poppel came to talk to me to inform the readers of "Trends" (31 januari 2008) about our classic car restoration activity.

S trong demand
we feel for Italian exotic sports cars and also for all the Aston Martin models. Most recent additions into our stock are a typical Mille Miglia 1953 Siata Daina Sport, yet another example of the very rare Lancia B24S Spider America, a stylish 1962 Maserati 3500 GT by Touring and a gentleman-esk 1967 Ferrari 330 GT/C supersportscar.
The 1958 Aston Martin DB MKIII Series II Coupé will, as did all the other Aston Martin's we saw passing by, find quickly a new owners garage, I am sure.

L et's stay in touch

through our website. It is always fascinating to hear when participating at rallies or exhibiting at classic car shows that this website is a perfect tool to follow-up year-in-year-out each others classic car passion.
Till very soon, I hope.
And for now: All the best from the Brussels area,
